I love mysteries and thrillers, but got tired of psychological suspense because it got so popular during the last few years that all the books were called "The husband / The Wife / The Widow.,.." hahaha

The categorisation can be so confusing. I always wonder about ‘crime’ as well, are these just police/detective dramas? But then how does Poirot sit under mystery, is it because he is a PI? Maybe I’m overthinking it 😂

I am working on a fictional novel in that category. Mystery/Suspense, but it’s good to know that when a book is labeled thriller that gets more traction. I know I am attracted to books and movies described as a thriller. Thank you Isabel, this good information to know.
