Great read! Apropos nothing, I had my worst ever case of food poisoning in Sorrento. It was the opposite of a rom com. But I did get to visit Pavarotti’s suite at the Excelsior Vittoria Hotel and that could be the start of a rom com (but wasn’t). 😁

I love this piece. And I love that you included some photos from your trip. Everything looks so beautiful and I'm sure even when some things went wrong you'll be looking back on this trip with nothing but love 🤎

I'd rather not deal with Amazon, but living up here atop the world, being at the end of the road at the far end of a very long supply route I often do. However I buy from alternatives and locally whenever possible even if it costs a bit more.

I checked out the Bookshop but Thriftbooks, also supporting independent bookstores, world wide, suits my needs better. They, Thriftbooks, deal in used books but sell the latest new ones as well. I randomly picked one the Bookshop is promoting and selling, I checked and it's available over at Thriftbooks as well.

Now all I can think about is you waking up in Sorrento, thinking what have I done? That whole story made me smile.

I'll be in Italy (for the first time) in September, so I loved your photos.
