an advocation for mood reading via a thread of my thoughts.

As a type A person, the idea of ~letting my mood decide~ is not one that comes naturally. But somewhat ironically, my creative pursuits have always been guided by my intuition. I write best with no plan, and I have always read what I wanted when I wanted to. Painting turns my brain off. When I write without comparing myself to anyone, it is the most free and true to myself that I have ever felt.

It’s like my brain uses my creative endeavors as a way to let go of it all - kind of like the moment you burst from the ocean after ducking a wave and breathe in deeply. It tastes a little salty and you can’t quite open your eyes because of the water, but you are in a moment where you are so grateful to be alive.
