We aren’t that different from each other. So many people have that pull to write, but less actually do so. Even less push on once they are rebuffed by publishing houses. Even less proceed to actually publish the book anyway. How utterly inspiring.

I have read many indie authors in my time, and some of them have become favorites, such as Carissa Broadbent, Elsie Silver, and Hannah Bonam-Young. Seeing these authors succeed in their dreams makes me feel like a proud mom.

There have been a few recent indie authors who I would like to chat about. I scoured the internet before writing this to try to expand my list, but quite frankly there is nearly no press about indie authors.
